Update
It is 11:45 and the nurse just came in and told us that they are still in the first part of the surgery but that everything is going fine. The first part of the surgery includes drilling the holes in the skull and placing the leads in...which are what connects to the wires. We are not sure how far along they are, but if everything is good then we don't care :)

ReplyDeleteI am thinking about you (and your family) every minute today as you have your surgery and sending as many positive thoughts your way as is humanly possible ;-) I have watched since you were born as you have grown into an amazing young lady. You are intelligent, brave, beautiful, and talented. I know you will come out of this surgery with flying colors and it will make your life so much easier. Can't wait to see you dance!

Dad, I want to thank you and mom for everything and especially for being where I need you, with Adam and making sure all is good at home and keeping grandma and Adam and everyone updated and calm. Emily loves you very much and so do we.
